Space Controller
Role and Appointment
- The space controller is appointed by the system admin and is responsible for managing the space.
- Multiple space controllers can be appointed to ensure redundancy and availability.
Visibility and Contact
- Members of the space can see who the space controller is.
- By clicking on the "View" button, members can access the contact details of the space controller for emergencies or other reasons.
Dashboard Features
Chat Channels
- The dashboard displays the chat channels that the user is a member of, facilitating communication within the space.
Groups
- Users can see the groups they belong to, allowing them to stay connected with relevant team members.
Prepared Broadcasts
- Available broadcasts are listed on the dashboard, ensuring that users are aware of any important announcements or updates.
Files and Documents
- Various types of files (e.g., video files, Excel spreadsheets, PDF files) are accessible through the dashboard.
- These files are added by the space controller and can include pinned documents that are deemed most important.
- DRM (Digital Rights Management) documents assigned to the user via their group membership are also visible on the dashboard.
Switching Spaces
- Users can switch between different spaces by selecting another space from the top right of the SPACES console, provided they are members of multiple spaces.
