When a company signs up for a Apple developer account, accepting Apples Paid Applications Schedule contract is part of the developer account creating process. Apples Paid Applications Schedule contract is an agreement between the developer and Apple which relates to content sold via an iOS app. Apple are always refining and updating the Paid Applications Schedule contract.
When Apple release any changes to the contract developers must accept the latest version of the contract, if the latest version of the contract is not accepted Apple will restrict certain resources such as app updates cannot be submitted for review.
Its worth noting only the Account Holder of the developer account can accept the latest Paid Applications Schedule contract.
Even though a developer may not sell content via their iOS app, Apple force all developers to accept the above contract as the app may sell content at a later date.
Here are steps on how to accept the updated contract..
- Login to App Store Connect (https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/)
- Go to the Agreements, Tax, and Banking area
- Accept review and accept the Paid Applications Schedule (Schedule 2 to the Apple Developer Program License Agreement).
