Bulk importing users or contacts into Sentinel allows for the the user/contact to be automatically assigned to a communication group. For Sentinel to carry out this operation the CSV file needs to contain the ID for the communication group that you would like the user/contact to be assigned too.
Here are the steps on how to get the Group ID for a communication group.
- Go to Admin > Groups.
- Select 'Communications' tab located at the right of the section.
- Press the 'View' button for the group you wish to get the ID for.
- The ID will appear in the communication group heading (just below the navigation bar).
- Add the Group ID number to the CSV file.
