Users manually deleted from the Users section are only soft deleted. A user that has been soft deleted can either be restored or permanently deleted from the system.
Whilst a users account is soft deleted the primary email address associated with the account cannot be used by another user account in the system. Either restore the user account or permanently deleted the old account and create a new one.
Please note that all users deleted on CSV upload are permanently deleted from the system automatically.
How to restore a user account:
- To restore a user account, click on the 'System' tab and the 'Restore System Users' link.
- Find the user in the restore user table and press the blue 'Restore' button.
- The system will then ask for confirmation that the user should be restored.
How to permanently delete a user account:
- To permanently remove the user, click on the 'System' tab and the 'Restore System Users' link.
- Find the user in the restore user table and press the red 'Delete' button.
- The system will then ask for confirmation that the user should be permanently removed from the system.
