Multi-factor authentication (mfa) is now a global setting. Only a system admin can enable enforced mfa and is done via the settings area of the Sentinel console. Once enabled, the next time users interact with Sentinel they will be required to setup 2FA. The mfa takes affect in the below areas.
- Sentinel Console
- Hotline
- Chat Channel (web browser, iOS and Android apps)
Currently the global mfa setting does not apply to the main iOS and Android Sentinel apps but these apps do have bio metric measures to help protect them.
