Documents created on Sentinel can be assigned to users or communication groups. To assign a document to a group ensure that the group has document type option enabled.

Assigning documents to groups
- Go to the Space the group resides at.
- Go to 'People' > 'Groups'.
- Press the 'Manage' button for the group you wish to assign a document to.
- Select 'Documents' tab, you now have the below options for assigning documents to the group.

- On the Documents table pressing the plus icon next to a document will assign the document to the group.
- On the Documents table if you want to add multiple documents to a group at the same time check the relevant check boxes and then press the 'Add Selected' button.

- You also have the below options to un-assign documents from the group.

- On the Assigned Documents table pressing the cross icon next to a document will unassign them from the group.
- On the Assigned Documents table if you want to remove multiple documents from a group at the same time check the relevant check boxes and then press the 'Remove Selected' button.

- All documents assigned/unassigned will be visible/removed to users who are members of the group when they login into Sentinel or a Sentinel app.
Assigning documents to individual users
- Click on the 'System' tab and the 'System Users' link.
- Find the user in the user table and select the view button.
- Then navigate to the 'Documents section of the individuals profile page.
- Select 'Documents' tab, you now have the below options for assigning documents to the user.
